Emergency services have been called to a serious crash on Bowicks Road, near Starvation Hill, on Wednesday afternoon.

Police said they received reports of the incident at around 1.25pm.

The crash involved a single vehicle and initial indications are that one person has sustained serious injuries, the spokesman said.

St John Ambulance said it was notified of the incident and responded with a first response unit, a helicopter, a PRIME responder, and an operations manager.

Chris Lynch Media understands a vehicle has rolled onto a person.
