Emergency services are at the scene of a serious crash in Sydenham.
They were called to the intersection of Brougham Street and Waltham Road just after 11PM.

Chris Lynch Media understands a scooter was involved in the crash.
NZTA said due to the serious crash, SH76 was closed to eastbound road-users at the intersection of Waltham Road.
“Avoid the area or delay your journey if possible.”
Conditions on many Christchurch roads are treacherous as a band of rain moves over the city.
Surface flooding is affecting a number of roads.
It’s understood The Serious Crash Unit was attending the scene.
Police and St John Ambulance were at the scene.
