Church lectern stolen in Mackenzie burglary

Police are appealing for information after a burglary at a church in Middle Valley in the Mackenzie district.

Officers received a report on Sunday of a theft from a church on Middle Valley Road.

A large brass eagle lectern was stolen from the church.

A police spokesperson said the burglary is believed to have occurred sometime between 19 February and 4 March.

Police are asking anyone who may have seen the lectern or has information that could assist the investigation to come forward.
