A popular Christchurch indoor trampoline park has announced it will close immediately, citing a difficult economic year.
MoveX Trampoline and Ninja Park on Maces Road in Bromley sent a message to students and parents that its final day of operation would be today.
The park’s owner told chrislynchmedia.com she was “devastated” by the closure.
In the message sent to members, the email said “We are deeply saddened to inform you that MoveX will be closing, and today will be our final day of operation. This decision follows what has been an extremely challenging economic year.”
The park thanked its community for years of support and signalled the closure may not be permanent.
“We want to express our heartfelt gratitude for your support over the years and thank you for being part of our journey. While this may not be the permanent end for MoveX, we are signing off for now.”
Families and regular visitors have been invited to attend a final send off event on the last evening of operation.
“We invite you to join the coaches tonight from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM for one last ‘fun class’ style event (all ages) to send off MoveX. This is free if you are an existing student.”
“Thank you again for everything.”
