A person has been injured after crashing their vehicle in Prebbleton.

Emergency services were called to the single vehicle crash on Springs Road at 8.19PM on Friday.

The vehicle had left the road and landed upside down in a paddock.

A St John spokesman said they dispatched an ambulance and rapid response vehicle.

One person was assessed and transported to Christchurch Hospital in a moderate condition.
