• SH1 Ashburton, Ashburton River (Hakatere) Bridge – open to light vehicles* only with 30km/h speed restriction in place. The road will be closed again between 10am and 2pm for additional testing.
Weather conditions have mostly eased, rivers will remain swollen for some time. Floodwaters will also take time to recede.
