The Canterbury Bulls 18s Boys are through to the NZRL National Youth Tournament Final.
The Bulls, filled with 4 current junior Warriors in the squad, beat Auckland 14-0 in their semi final yesterday.
Canterbury’s victory sends them into today’s final against Akarana Falcons, who overwhelmed Counties Manukau Stingrays 28-10 in the other semi.
This only the second year returning under Canterbury after being forced for 15+ years to play under the South Island team banner.
The Final kicks off at 1:15pm on Field 1 at Ngā Puna Wai, with locals encouraged to fill the 500 seat grandstand to capacity.
The last time Canterbury hosted a national tournament was in 1993, when the schoolboy 15-year-olds nationals took place at Burnham Military Camp.
