On a post made today, it said “today is special. Yes, we are standing in numbers, standing against these horrible vaccine mandates, but we are also standing in compassion for all those who have lost their jobs recently due to NO JAB, NO JOB. This is not the New Zealand we want.”
A police spokeswoman said there were no issues or arrests.
She said it’s estimated up to 3,000 people attended.
The Christchurch City Council put a traffic management place.
