A house is on fire in the Christchurch suburb of Wainoni.

Fire and Emergency crews received the call about 11.40PM to a Pages Road property

The house is abandoned.

Multiple fire appliances are at the scene and police have been called.

Neighbours have self evacuated.

Police have blocked off Page Road at the Breezes Road intersection.
