One person has died and three other people have been Injured in a serious crash on SH85, Morrisons – Kyeburn Road, Round Hill, Waitaki.

The crash, reported at 11.20am, involved a ute and a motorcycle.

Police say in addition to the person who died, one person received serious injuries in the crash, one person had moderate injuries and one person had minor injuries.

The Serious Crash Unit is examining the scene.

Traffic management remains in place with diversions in place. Motorists are asked to avoid the area.
