A man has serious injuries after his car plunged a hundred metres down a bank on Akaroa Road.
A police spokesman said at 8.50pm Sunday, emergency services received a report that a car had gone over a bank on the Christchurch-Akaroa Road, near Summit Road.
“One person was in the car at the time, and the vehicle has gone about 100 metres down the bank.”
The accident happened near Hill Top Café a Fire and Emergency spokeswoman said.
The occupant suffered serious injuries.
A Fire and Emergency spokeswoman said two crews from Little River and Akaroa attended.
