A bus driver has suffered minor injuries after being assaulted in Linwood this afternoon.
A police spokeswoman said they were notified of the assault at 12.37 today.
She said the bus driver was assaulted at the bus stop along Buckleys Road, opposite Eastgate mall.

An eye witness posted a comment on a community Facebook group tonight saying she witnessed the attack along with her 7 year old, and elderly people.
She said she saw the driver getting dragged off the bus and beaten. An elderly man was also pushed to the ground by the offender.
“Really felt for the driver but it was also sad to see how it affected everyone that witnessed it.”
“Yes the police turned up and he was arrested.”
The police spokeswoman said police are following up and working to determine the circumstances surrounding the matter.
