#BREAKING: (18:01) Another large scrub fire has broken out, this time in Springston, Selwyn.

Motorists can expect delays on Ellesmere Junction Road.

Crews from Lincoln Volunteer Fire Brigade, Rolleston and several Christchurch crews are at the scene.

The fire is about hundred metres by two hundred metres.

An eyewitness said power lines were on fire.

The road was closed by emergency services.
