A body has been found in Christchurch’s Hagley Park.

Emergency services cordoned off a park entrance on Riccarton Avenue on Sunday afternoon.

Multiple police officers and St John ambulance staff attended the scene.

A police spokesman said the incident related to a sudden death.

There are no suspicious circumstances.
