State Highway 1 at Dunsandel has been blocked by a serious crash involving a car and truck. 

A police spokesman told Chris Lynch Media emergency services are working to extract one person, who has reportedly suffered serious injuries.

The collision happened between Hororata Dunsandel Road and Browns Road, about 3.40pm. 

Traffic management is being arranged.

Motorists should expect delays while emergency services work at the scene.
