Police seized an item of interest during an armed operation in Marshland.

Multiple armed police converged on a Marshland Road property late yesterday morning, with witnesses telling chrislynchmedia.com at least 14 police vehicles were at the scene.

On Wednesday, Senior Constable Mark Stewart told chrislynchmedia.com officers executed a preplanned search warrant as part of an investigation into burglaries at a Lincoln property in May and July.

He said no arrests were made, but police seized an item as part of the operation. He did not say what the item was.

Stewart said police were continuing to make enquiries.

Locals said it was not the first time the property had come to the attention of police.
