A motorcyclist has been seriously injured in a two vehicle crash in Papanui.
A police spokeswoman told chrislynchmedia.com emergency services were called to the intersection of Mary Street, Langdons Road and Main North Road about 10.35am.
The Serious Crash Unit was initially called, but was stood down.

A St John spokesman said they responded with an ambulance and rapid response vehicle.
One patient was assessed at the scene was transported to Christchurch Hospital in a serious condition.
The roads were expected to be cleared by 11.30AM.
