Food outlet Pita Pit has pulled out of two Christchurch malls.
The franchise company has closed its stores at Hornby Hub and The Palms in Shirley.
A sign at the Hornby Hub outlet said Pita Pit was closed “today due to unforeseen circumstances. Sorry for the inconvenience.”
A spokesman for The Palms confirmed Pita Pit had closed at the mall.

“We have a new tenant coming into this space in the food court, LJ’s Fish & Chips, which is expected to open in a few weeks.”
A Hornby Hub spokesman confirmed Pita Pit had been closed for a few days, but could not comment further.
Pita Pit’s Auckland office has not responded to a request for comment.
Its stores at South City and Sydenham were operating as normal.
A store map on the company’s website still showed the Hornby Hub location, but said it was closed today.
The Palms location had been removed from the map.
