New Zealand Food Safety is supporting a recall of three deli-made chicken meals sold at Pak’n Save Riccarton after they were found to potentially contain pieces of glass.

The recall covers RW Sweet and Sour Chicken, Butter Chicken Deli Made, and Deli Made Panini Butter Chicken, all sold chilled in plastic containers.

The affected RW Sweet and Sour Chicken and Butter Chicken Deli Made meals carry packed-on dates of 09.06.26 to 13.06.26 and use-by dates of 14.06.26 to 18.06.26.

The Deli Made Panini Butter Chicken carries packed-on dates of 09.06.26 to 12.06.26 and use-by dates of 14.06.26 to 17.06.26.

The products were sold only at Pak’n Save Riccarton and have not been exported.

No other deli products at the store are affected.

Customers are asked to check the packed-on and use-by dates on the container and not to consume the affected meals.

A spokesperson for New Zealand Food Safety said there had been no reports of associated injury, but anyone who had eaten the products and had concerns about their health should seek medical advice.

Customers can return the meals to Pak’n Save Riccarton for a full refund.

Anyone with questions can contact Pak’n Save Riccarton by email at [email protected] or by phone on 03 348 9727.
