A Christchurch real estate agent says a new digital platform is set to change how homes are bought and sold.

Ray White Marshland agent Amanda Blair said the system, called Nurture Cloud, allows agents to instantly match properties with active, qualified buyers.

“It’s groundbreaking technology. It’s going to change the whole way that we transact in real estate,” she said.

Blair said the platform can display a list of buyers already searching for homes similar to a property.

“It will bring up the 20 most qualified buyers that are currently looking in the market right now for a home like yours,” she said.

She said the feature allows agents to demonstrate real demand rather than rely on claims.

“You can turn around now and say ‘We’ll prove it.’ And we can prove it,” she said.

Blair said those buyers can be contacted within seconds, helping move quickly once a property is listed.

“We can sit there and text them all, bulk email them all straight away within seconds, letting them know about your property to get them through the home,” she said.

She said another key feature gives vendors direct access to activity on their property through a live dashboard.

“You can in real time, 24 hours a day, have access to your own vendor portal,” she said.

“You can see how many text messages we’ve sent out, how many emails, how many phone calls, every bit of feedback, how many people have searched it on every portal.”

Blair said the system removes uncertainty around what agents are doing.

“There’s no hiding. There’s no me saying ‘I’ve done 100 phone calls today.’ You can see whether I have or not,” she said.

She said the platform helps keep clients informed at all times, regardless of their schedule.

“If they’re on a break at 2 in the morning, they can check how many people have viewed their property that day and how much feedback I’ve put in,” she said.

Blair said the technology marked a significant shift in how real estate transactions are managed.

“It’s pretty incredible,” she said.
