A pedestrian has been injured after being hit by a vehicle early Sunday morning.
Emergency services were called to Sawyers Arms Road, near Sisson Drive at around 12:20am.
It’s understood the pedestrian went under the vehicle.
A St John Ambulance spokeswoman said the organisation was notified of a motor vehicle incident and responded one ambulance and one clinical manager.
Paramedics assessed and treated one patient with moderate injuries who was transported to Christchurch hospital.
