Police say they have received positive information relating to the man found deceased on Horotane Valley Road in Heathcote Valley on Friday 19 September.

Detective Sergeant Chris Power said the information provided by the public had greatly assisted their enquiries.

“We would like to thank the community that has come forward with information, which has greatly assisted us in our enquiries,” he said.

Police said formal identification of the man could still take some time.
