A lucky Powerball player from Christchurch will be living the dream after winning $20.25 million with Powerball First Division in tonight’s live Lotto draw.

The winning ticket was sold on MyLotto.

The prize is made up of $20 million from Powerball First Division and $250,000 from Lotto First Division.

Tonight’s winner is thirteenth Powerball multi-millionaire this year, and the win comes just one month after a MyLotto player scored themselves $10.3 million. Originally thought to be an Auckland player, the winner is actually based in Christchurch and hadn’t updated their location in their MyLotto account.

Three other lucky Lotto players will also be celebrating after winning $250,000 with Lotto First Division in tonight’s live Lotto draw. The winning tickets were sold at Woolworths Mt Eden in Auckland and on MyLotto to players from Taupō and the Waikato.

Meanwhile, Strike Four has rolled over tonight and will be $400,000 on Wednesday night.

Anyone who bought their ticket from Woolworths Mt Eden or on MyLotto should check their ticket as soon as possible in-store, on MyLotto, or through the MyLotto App.

Players can phone Lotto NZ on 0800 695 6886 if they want to enquire about the best way to claim a prize.
