Emergency services are at the scene of a house fire in Christchurch.
A police spokeswoman told Chris Lynch they were notified at 11am.
Fire and Emergency spokesman said two crews were initially called from Wigram and Ilam stations.
He said because of the location of the fire, they received multiple calls.
A tanker from Christchurch City Station was also called.
He said when police arrived the fire was well ablaze.
Another tanker was called to the scene from the Rolleston station along with additional support from crews from other stations in Christchurch
The house is 40 by 20 metres and a fire investigator has been called to the scene.
No one was inside the house.
