Orana Wildlife Park has announced the name of its giraffe calf, following an overwhelming number of public votes.

It was a landslide result with Kevin taking it out.

Staffa the park said Kevin has been very happy this week “doing some zoomies around his habitat.”

“Kevin can be a little shy and as he is still growing needs rest.

If he isn’t in his habitat or the yard he may be resting in his house.”

Other names that weren’t chosen were Imani, Rangi, Rwenzori, Selassie, and Obi.
