Man arrested following aggravated robbery in Sydenham

Police have identified a man following an aggravated robbery in Sydenham.

The man allegedly entered the Mobil service station, just before 9am on September 23rd demanding cash and cigarettes and threatened the sole attendant with a weapon.

He then fled on a black Milazo mountain bike, and headed west down Milton Street.

A 41-year-old man has been charged with aggravated robbery and is due to reappear in Christchurch District Court on 24 October.
