The developers of Christchurch’s newest dining destination and retail space have put the call out for more investors, through the Pledge Me platform.
The Grand is located at the Chief Post Office building inside Cathedral Square.
The “world-class destination” is owned and operated by The Grand Cathedral Square Limited, and will include an artisan French bakery, a people-focused food court experience, visitor information centre, iconic restaurants, and bars – and one of New Zealand’s largest outdoor plazas.
On the Grand’s website, it said “we want it to be owned by this community. Our crowdfunding campaign is your opportunity to become a founding investor of The Grand.”
“Aside from the opportunity to be an investor in The Grand and share in its potential commercial success, there will be amazing rewards for our investors.”
Business Development Manager Bianca Baillie told Chris Lynch Stage 1 is fully funded.
“We are now crowdfunding for stages 2, which will hold the artisan bakery and stage 3 which is the first floor and includes the Stamps Restaurant, a tasting experience, retail, pastry school, private dining and production kitchens.”
The company has created a new pledge me site for interested people.
