Two people have been seriously injured in a motor vehicle crash in Belfast.

Emergency services were called to the Christchurch Northern Corridor at just after 10PM.

A St John spokeswoman said the organisation responded with three ambulances, one rapid response unit and one manager to the scene.

Paramedics assessed and treated two patients.

Both people were transported to Christchurch hospital in a serious condition.
