Christchurch police are investigating a sixth burglary of a commercial premises overnight.

It happened on Waimairi Road.

A police spokesman said on Tuesday there was a report of a burglary at a commercial premises at 4:06am.

It follows at least five similar incidents that occurred on Monday.

Chris Lynch Media has been told by multiple people, two 14-year-olds were the offenders of Monday’s crimes.

Entry was gained and enquiries were ongoing, a police spokesman said.
