Emergency services are at the scene of a crash in Burwood.

They were called to the crash just after 8AM on the corner of Travis Country Drive and Travis Road.

An eye witness said a van was “smashed up on one side” while a four wheel drive had also been damaged.

He said the roof tent rack from the vehicle had detached itself and was on the road.

St John Ambulance staff were attending to a patient on the side of the road who appeared to be ok.

Travis Road closed to Westbound traffic, but has since reopened.
