A 12 year old girl has been injured after crashing the stolen car she was driving in Broomfield. Christchurch.
A police spokesman said they were notified of the crash on Laramie Place at 12.45PM on Saturday.
A local neighbour told Chris Lynch Media a 12 year old girl, the sole occupant was pulled from the car which had crashed into parked car before flipping upside down.
The girl was going in and out of consciousness.
Chris Lynch Media understands the stolen car was being tracked by police and even the police helcoptoter was diverted away from a training exercise to help police ground staff.
A St john spokesman said one patient was transported to Christchurch hospital in a moderate condition.
