Protestors march through Christchurch’s central city

Protestors gathered again in Christchurch’s central city on Saturday, raising awareness about the plight of the people of Gaza. 

The protest was organised by veteran activist John Minto, who took a moment to extend a message of solidarity and acknowledgment to Christchurch’s Jewish community.

This gesture came in the wake of a disturbing incident where vandals targeted a local synagogue, shattering windows and leaving the community in a state of unease and fear. 

The protestors marched through Cashel Mall with similar events planned next weekend.
