Dramatic footage of truck fire north of Kaikoura

A fire involving a truck closed State Highway One North of Kaikoura.

A police spokesperson urged motorists to see alternative routes an expect delays on Friday afternoon.

Footage sent to Chris Lynch Media shows what appears to be the truck on fire.

A witness said the driver managed to disingouage the firey trailor load, which kept burning.

A number of toys were amoung the ideams on fire.
