WATCH: Thief caught on camera stealing rabbit & her 4 babies from Addington home
A man has been caught on camera stealing a rabbit and her four babies from a house in Addington.
Resident Amiee Newth said she’d been looking after the mother Tinkerbell, who’s a Dutch Rabbit, along with her four babies, who are about 8 weeks ago.
Aimee said she’d been looking after them for a lady who was going to a rough time, but her children had become attached to them.
“This morning they were all crying.”
On this CCTV video a male offender can be seen enter the Harman street property at 11pm on Wednesday, in what appears to be a well planned crime.
He’s carrying a small cage, just big enough to place all five rabbits inside.
The video shows the man lifting the hatch of the one of the rabbit cages, before putting each rabbit, one by one, into his cage.
