Two arrested following police operation in Edgeware

Two people have been arrested following a police operation in Edgeware.

A resident reported seeing armed police raid a house in Oxley Ave this afternoon.

“There were multiple police armed with rifles, dogs and from what I saw going past two people in the process of being arrested.”

A police spokesman said officers attended the scene at 2pm after reports of someone acting threateningly.

Two people were taken into custody.

Enquiries were ongoing to determine the circumstances.

No one was hurt.
