Emergency services at two-vehicle crash on Southern Motorway

Police are responding to a two vehicle crash on Christchurch’s Southern Motorway.

The crash happened around 10:40am.

A police spokesman said one lane is partially blocked but should be clear soon.

NZTA said the crash was blocking a lane near the Curletts Rd off-ramp.

Road users are advised to expect delays when travelling this route.

A St John Ambulance spokesman said an ambulance and a rapid response unit attended.

Two patients were transported to Christchurch Hospital, one with minor injuries, one with moderate injuries.
